I recently flew to Israel from Newark International Airport. There were two separate stages of security procedures for passengers flying to Israel. The first was the general security line and the second was a special security area in front of the Israel gate. In a span of thirty minutes I removed my shoes, belt, hat, computer, which I had to turn on and off several times (as if the Dell sign was not clear enough) and watch twice. I propose a metal detector that can differentiate harmful and sharp objects from mundane daily objects like a belt and computer. This will cut down on the long security lines and passenger will be happier.

And also detect if you have explosives inside your computer.
