We could try and design a fully-automated electronic hair-cutting machine for use at home. It will be like a head-gear or helmet that you put on your head, select the specifications (style, size etc), press a button and relax. For add-ons, it could even do a gentle message at the end (this would be a premium version though). The most basic of the instruments would do single style, single size cut, the pricier versions would be more customizable. (Talk of dumb ideas!!)
