Lots of people lose sleep because of a snorer on the other side of the bed. Sure, there are nose strips for the snorer, but those often don't work for serious snorers. As a victim of lost sleep because of my boyfriend's snoring (which is actually a very serious problem for me), I've tried many tactics. The only thing that seems to interrupt and stop his snoring is making noise or giving him a little nudge - not enough to wake him up, but enough to make him shift in his sleep and turn on his side (he only snores when he sleeps on his back, which I assume is common among snorers). I propose a thin bracelet that would be able to detect the snoring sound and harmlessly shock the snorer to make them turn on their side or shift in their sleep. The snorer would get accustomed to this subconsciously and learn what this shock is telling him or her to do while allowing him or her to continue sleeping, while also allowing his or her partner on the other side of the bed to sleep soundly (or in this case soundLESSly) too.

There already is a gadget that you can strap on which makes it uncomfortable to be on your back.
