As countries grow richer and demographically older with fewer new born babies, I thought this baby market could be an interesting niche area of business. My business idea is to provide a total photo package service to new parents who want to remember their pregnancy and the birth of their child.

The final product, Baby Photo Book, will include the happy moments of parents during maternity period, and a final picture of the whole family after the baby is born.

Although the service will be a 10-month long business, the pictures of the parents will be taken only once a month (to show the mom's growing belly) until the baby is born. This is a photo "book" rather than an "album" since there will be letters, drawings, short journals etc included in-between the monthly parent photos. The pictures will be taken by a professional photographer either in the studio or in the client's home. The letters and other documents will be scanned or laminated to withstand weathering or potential damages in order to preserve the photo book as long as possible. The final product will have all the pictures and other papers binded together in a fancy cover of the customer's choice.

This will be a unique yet memorable gift package for new parents since the Baby Book will end with a picture of the "visible" whole family with the new born baby.

Since this is a highly personalised service, it will be targeted towards high end customers, positioning the product as an exclusive premium gift for the parents and for their babies.
