Refrigerator Replenisher | |||||||||||||||||
Sensors are attached to food items in the refrigerator. When items begin to run out, a message is sent to a food distributor and a replacement item is delivered to your home within 24 hours. Items can be tagged as "replacement wanted" and also a vacation mode may be activated to prevent unwanted deliveries. -Maneesh Khaitan

These actually exist and are slowly being released in stores now. Amazing!
I think this would be great, it could even save the trouble of going online to select your groceries. It might still be better if you can bindle items and get just on delivery per week, since receiving one item every day might also be unconvenient.
I want a beer keg with a level sensor which sends a signal when there is less than 5 gallons left.
Would be nice for dry goods, too.
