Technology for paper-thin electronic ink screens already exists. How about an ebook reader that would simulate real ink but could be folded and put into a pocket? You could read novels or textbooks on the go.

If Kindle 2 moves the buttons away from the side of the gadget, it will be narrow enough to fit into a standard pocket of a sports jacket or suit. That'll be good enough. There will always be bulk from the keyboard, control buttons, and battery, so folding up the screen isn't enough.
