Travel with Booze | |||||||||||||||||
The new FAA restrictions on traveling with liquids really suck. I love bringing back home wine, vodka, rhum, etc. from the places I have visited. Why not develop booze bottle bag that protects your booze bottle from shattering and your suit from getting stained if the bottle does break?

My understanding is that you are okay to bring them on board so long as you buy them in the duty free shot in the airport. The price might be a buck higher.
Unfortunately if you have a layover though often times security at the new airport will not let you bring any booze on the plane unless it was purchased in duty free at THAT airport. Those of us in South Africa were unable to bring wine on the plane since we were stopping in Europe and would have to go through a security check again since we were flying to the US!
