automatic blog cross-posting | |||||||||||||||||
I contribute to several blogs with related topics. Sometimes my writings are appropriate for one blog, sometimes they are appropriate for many--in which case I cross-post (generally with links to the other versions of the post). I would love to see a system that automates cross-posting. I think this would greatly help to unify the web (particularly, the political blogs) and combat the partisan echo-chamber effect. I think this system would have two components: 1) An interface for the writer, which he can setup with his accounts and quickly choose which blogs to cross-post to. 2) A feedback system for the blog readers, showing them where the entry has been cross-posted to, along with a report of how many comments there are at each of those sites. It may even be nice to allow the option of consolidating all comments into one discussion thread, such that the communities of each blog are interacting with each other in the discussion thread.
