virtual crowds raise awareness | |||||||||||||||||
Why not use crowd rendering techniques to visualize demographic information? Imagine a large computer image showing a field with 6 billion people rendered on it. Then add an information selector with which you can choose the type of information you want. E.g : sorting the crowd, by nationality, by age, gender, by income, by living conditions, you name it. This way we might raise awareness on the actual situation of people on our planet. You could actually see how many of us have aids, how many own a car, or how many got lost in a flood, ... etc. This way important statistics can become meaningful for a wider audience, raising awareness on fundamental issues.

If you mean a graphical depiction of 6 billion individuals in a single image, that is impossible, unless you have a display device about the size of Texas.
I suspect that an organization like the UN could provide the information needed to form an overlaying symbolic chart, assuming such does not exist.
