Losing weight to save Earth | |||||||||||||||||
I wonder if everyone lose 1 kg in weight how much energy can we conserve to save our planet?Obesity is certainly causing our cars to burn more fuel, lifts and escalators to drive harder etc...Does it sounds like a good idea to lose weight to save Mother Earth?

The way the population is increasing, I doubt that one kg will help much.
pretty good chance that if global warming is real, twenty years from now we won't need to worry about being overweight or too much population growth.
BTW, it has really nothing to do with saving the earth. The earth is a big rock that'll be here after we're gone. Your measures are to 'save the people.'
You can't live on something that's just a rock. I assume that was just a manner of speaking.
save the earth really is a pretty stupid term. global warming will kill us, some animals, and some plants. not the earth. and for the most part i think the majority of the population cares only about saving the human race, nevermind the animals and plants, so it should be "save the humans" or "save our children's children"
Maybe not mother earth but it might save your mama ;)
i wonder what 6 billion kg of fat would look like
Ya, I can see it.
I'd much rather consider how we can make that energy back since it seems most people dont like to lose weight
