If I want beer, sports, and girls, I'll go to a bar. I go to a clothing store to get clothes. Period. Simple, quick, get in, get out. I know what I want.
Now make it a gadget store, you might have something for men.
I don't know how you think people would be able to justify the selfishness- aspect of this store. Maybe single-guys could, but as a family man, I don't think I could deal with telling the family that I'm neglecting them to go shopping and coming home with beer-breath, lipstick and overpriced clothes. I don't think my wife would volunteer to be the designated driver, because I don't think she'd care for the place.
Also, the clothes would probably have to be overpriced to pay the extra overhead.
I mostly don't clothes-shop because I have all the clothes I need and I've received (and continue to receive) most of them as gifts ie. birthday, Christmas, etc. When I get new clothes, that means I have to throw away something--because I don't wear-them-out as quickly as I get them.
When I 'shop', its direct and intentional--I already know what I want. Do alot of online shopping. Not so interested in 'stores' at all.
This type of establishment has been around for years. Around here we refer to them as "golf courses". . .
There used to be a place like that on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Mainly for stars, etc, with lots of $$$$. Gucci jeans for $300, etc. Outside my range.
