Sat Nav integrated into the car electronics will know: how much fuel you have; where you plan to go (if you use route planning) and where the fuel stations are.

It can warn you to get fuel at the next station, or (if prices are known) tell you when to refuel in order to get the best price without wasting fuel driving out of your way.

Refuelling can be built into the journey plan.
