Hospital johnny with pocket | |||||||||||||||||
Twice in the last four weeks, I had to put on a johnny, once on a doctor visit and again when I had an outpatient procedure. Both times I had written notes that I wanted to keep with me after I put on the johnny. It's very awkward to keep notes because the johnnies don't have a pocket. It would only add a few cents to the cost of a johnny to add a pocket where a shirt pocket would normally be, and it would save patients a lot of hassle.

Not familiar with that term. I assume this is a hospital gown.
Maybe they think the pockets would hold germs. Probably trying to keep the price down, and maximize profits.
