I know there will be some skeptisism, but hear me out. Any one who knows about tape worms know that they eat a large portion of the hosts food. Which is why when your cat or dog suddenly get skinny its likely a tapeworm. Which brings me to my idea: a tapeworm pill.
It would come in a box with two pills, one pill comtaining the tapeworm egg and the second carrying the treatment to kill it. Once a person takes the pill the tapeworm begins to hatch and eats a majority of the food consumed thus causing the person to lose weight no matter what is eaten. Then after a period of time or when the desired weight is reached (not to exceed a safe time) they take the second pill and are done.
I know it's a bizarre idea, but its all natural, you can eat whatever you want and you dont have to kill yourself at a gym. It's the perfect diet pill.
I personally wouldn't take it but it's an idea I came up with a couple years ago and wanted to put it out there.

they did sell tapeworm eggs, or rather a small segment of a tapeworm itself, which grows larger in the late 1800s, and into the early 1900s, for weight loss. the problem here is that tapeworms tend to take specific nutrients, they will cause massive weight loss, but tend to cause specifiic deficiencies which cause vitamin anemia. also, the rapid weight loss is not healthy, after only a couple of weeks the tape worm is able to consume almost all of what you eat, and this becomes anorexia, as if you were not eating at all, but even if the tapewormn were altered to grow more slowly, or limit it's size, simply reducing nutrients without excercise or adjusting to a more balanced diet is not healthy, it causes the body to switch almost entirely to fat and protien stores for energy, and in burning so much fat and protien, excessive amounts of ketonic acids are released into the blood, causing a problem common to diabetics, ketoacidosis, which causes the blood to actually become acidic, destroying the organs, weakening the blood vessels, and making every muscle to actually feel like it is burning constantly, it is not pleasant.
