This idea revolves around the fact that despite all the technology out there to help visually impaired people (VIP) use the net; it is still so much more convenient for a VIP to use sighted persons eyes to help them out. One of these areas on the net could be Freecycle or groups of that ilk. Freecycle is a forum where people post offered and wanted messages for used items. Everything posted is for free. Freecycle is growing in popularity quite rapidly and it’s difficult for a VIP to use the system. However if a sighted person was to use their eyes to spot things that a VIP wanted, then it would make life a lot easier for the VIP. The sighted person would also need to pick up the item for the VIP. Conversely if a VIP was in a position to offer a used item to the Freecycle group, then a sighted person could help out by being at the house when the person comes round to pick these items up. This idea would ideally be most suited to being run through a local blind club where sighted people would be known to the VIPs.

From what I've seen of online classified type sites, they are pretty rudimentary and very screen reader capable.
