How about a MacBook Light? | |||||||||||||||||
How about a MacBook Light? We all know the MacBook Air, the ultrathin, ultraportable laptop from Apple. But the Macintosh is becoming increasingly complex. So, why not a MacBook Light. MacBook Light would feature the simplest user interface and the most intuitive applications ever created for computers. It would have been stripped of all not absolutely necessary features and functions. It would be what computing for “the rest of us” should have been since day one. MacBook Light would be, in addition and as its name suggests first, the world’s lightest notebook. more at http://ic3.squarespace.com/journal/2008/1/27/how-about-a-macbook-light.html

Such would not be "lite" in the hardware sense, but as a UI option to simplify the interface, likely not even sold as a different product.
