Why not a phone number that you can call that will let you use speed dial from anywhere?

I am thinking a simple 1-800 number that's easy to remember. Yoiu call it, enter your id (specific to this service), then that will send you to a main menu. From there enter a number to call via speed dial, or add or manage numbers through the menu.

That way where ever you are, you can use any phone to access your speed dial, you don't need to memorize any phone number other than the 800 number.

Might have been viable able twelve years or more ago. With everybody using cell phones these days, which themselves have speed dial entries you can dial, it is not so much viable.

You can (or at least could) get handheld DTMF dialers. They could store a number of numbers to dial.
