It is not that the Palestinians have no place to live or go, it is the principal that what is now Israel was their land before 1948 that is their point.

classicsat..the dispute goes deeper than that also...the debate rages way farther back than 1948, too judaic tradition in the torah , tales of alexander the great re-naming israel after the ancient enemies of the jews out of spite, and other historical hassles....the temple mount, and crusades all obviously evidence of jewish settlement before 1948.....i dont want to jump in the middle of that spat, and i have to claim ignorance on most of these facts and debates...but my idea and point remain the same.....a little sacrifice goes a long way,
