lets have a channel that only shows commercials 24/7. every single commercial, past and present. this way the TV shows we want to watch are uninterrupted by pesky commercials. this way you can have the choice to watch them if you want to or not.

Who would choose to watch this channel. I mean tv is bad these days, but I don't know anyone who would say, forget programming, I am going to watch some commercials before bed.

this completely defeats the purpose of commercials, the tv stations make a large chunk of their money by selling commercial spots, and the commercials rely on the programs to get people to watch. with your idea, the stations would not be making money and nobody would choose to watch that channel, its completely idiotic.

My ex is from Russia and he told me this is what they do over there. OF course that was over a decade ago. I wonder how capitalism there has changed how tv commercials are shown.
