Moon as solar cell | |||||||||||||||||
for those who know, moon always face earth with a same side so it would be wise to construct some solar cell up there and transfer the energy 1) by wire :( or just 2) a beam of concentrated light to point at the same spot of earth where there would be a huge solar panel that will convert that light to energy.

Cheaper to dig a hole in Earth straight down where it is hot enough to boil water and generate steam.
There's one place where deep-well geothermal (below two miles down) is being implemented: in one site in Switzerland. The up-front costs are high, but the payoff is fantastic. And it's pollution-free.
