Although the concept is tempting the idea requires realization in an actual substance that will perform the necessary function. Until that substance is realized it is not an idea.

I don't know about for doctors, but for aircraft builders, there are already a number of liquid-glove products. I havn't used them, so I don't know how good they are, but they do exist.
