Forum-type sites typically flag threads to which a new comment has been added since the visitor's prior visit. Something similar here--namely, a new category consisting of Ideas to which a comment had been added since the viewer's last visit--would increase the liveliness of the discussion here considerably. And it would give viewers who've worked their way through all the ideas a reason to come back regularly.

I think this could easily double the rate of feedback and participation here. If this could be done, it should be done.
