mosquito repelent bodywash | |||||||||||||||||
Why not make bodywash that can repel mosquitos and other biting insects that way you would'nt need to put on mosquito repelent if you're about to go outside.

I would be afraid of the toxicity to me. I had a dog that nearly died when I put the Permethrin flea-drops on him. He needed IV-fluids just to pull through.
If you could come up with something that would repel but wasn't toxic, maybe it would be okay, but that's a little counter-intuiative. Right now, the less surface area I need to spray, the better I like it.
Interesting, at least.
It avoids the problem that sunscreen has in that reapplication will not saturate you with repellent. However, there is now the chance that mist and vapor from the shower will increase the amount that is inhaled, on top of what is already being absorbed by the skin.
Avon's Skin So Soft does help some as a minor replellent. But if your sitting in your boat floatin through a major mosquito hatch where there are billions, better have some Deep woods off. Although instead of yard guard, try putting some listerine in a spray bottle and spray that around the yard. Sounds crazy, but if you live in the northwoods, you adapt. If you don't have alot of money, you adapt further. Also, SSS only comes into play if your fishing alone. Can't think of many guys who would stay in the boat with another guy who smells like a girl.
Joe, the solution is go go fishing with girls. And if you can find some hotties that drink beer and belch you've hit the trifecta. . . .
