renewable energy | |||||||||||||||||
I already feel empowered, first time posting on the web site. I have developed a renewable energy source that uses three forms of natural energy to produce electricity for the masses. The system produces electricity in per portion to the size unit produced. A small unit can easily produce enough electricity to run an above size home. On a larger scale, a production or hub facility can produce enough electricity for large cities, yes like LA, Atlanta, and even the big apple. The facility creates its own wind 16 hours per day minimum, has no need for naturally occuring wind, creates temperatures above 2000 degrees F that continue to produce electricity throughout the night and uses off the shelf technology. Issue is I can not get the attention of any US based energy providers, which in turn puts forth the notion that these large companies are not interested in "clean" energy. The DOE has a wall that can not be passed unless you have the patent in hand and are incorporated. All of the major electric providers are red tape bound as well. I have a European (German) company very interested but find a sick feeling that no US based companies would want to make a simple move to check this out. Mine actually filters the air as it passes through. Reason for the post, someone please tell me that their is an company, at least one that is truly interested in stopping the dependence we have on fossil fuels as our main energy source. I need the help to push this forward! David Snipes, Loganville Ga. I can be reached by leaving your contact information but would prefer this show get direct credit for any real interest. It has been a lifeline for me in the past.

it is vague for a reason.
It's unfortunate that this exciting possibility sounds so much like a scam.
"sand"
No scam, I'm too busy working and providing for my own fanily, I'm real and so is the invention. Try calling the DOE (on the local or Federal levels), The Gates Foundation, Google (they have a grant process, red tape), All of the major energy providers (ALL OF THEM!), Companies who claim they are the green leaders (no so interested unless it helps their own inapt idea), I even called Green Peace and wow those folks are rude. So move on to Siemens and GE, both want you to freely pass the information along, and they may give you $5000.00 for it or maybe not as "they" more than likely already have similar technology.
It is greed and the scam is simple, you dream it and someone will steal it!
One real bite has occurred, the company is called Bluenergy based in Germany, they are for real and have technology that could be used to inhance mine but I'm not sure they have the ability to pull this off. I want to see it through not just say here and walk away.
Anyway enough of that, look me up I live in Loganville GA, 30052, ph#770-876-4083, no late calls please.
This is just an idea that you haven't actually tried yet? are you technical?
It seems to me the best thing to do would be to just start building some of these things and sell them. If you can build one on a shoestring and start selling them, there will be no need to get the DOE or big companies involved. You get control, you get the profit, you get the recognition. Ever hear of Henry Ford? Steve Jobs? Bill Gates?
It sounds like you don't need 'energy provider' cooperation, you won't come under utility regulation (it's a self-contained gadget?) so you don't need government approval. You're looking for money from them?
Your point about DOE requiring patents is surprising because the patent office will readily patent things that don't actually work--A patent isn't a proof that it works, it's only protection for you. Why would DOE care if you had intellectual property protection? So get one--you'll probably only spend $5k.
You know, there are plenty of people that make their living off of government grants and by fooling investors. Like sand says, you'll have to show more of your cards to keep this from looking like a scam.
Problem is time, and small scale does not translate to low cost. The system does use off the shelf technology, however some off the shelf tech can run into massive debt. A 1/8 scale would cost (estimated) 15-20m.
Technical? Albert was technical, Albert could have used some not so technical folks, so it takes a blend of people. NASA has had very few screw ups in regard to attempts made, some could have been prevented by what we call common sense.
Perhaps a more in depth description is required; it would also be required of someone trying to scam me out of an unprotected invention. This has occurred more times than you would care to count.
So just to tease a little:(The ingredients)
SunlightWind turbine90+ mph sustained windsSuper heated??? No way will I tell anyone that, it’s under your nose.Electricity created at both ends of the candle (so to speak) Full scale structure 2800' height x 1760' diameter base and would be considered the eighth wonder of the world, truly beautiful.
In addition, just in case I somehow I tripped upon a clever mind; name the first tower "Alexandra".

oh yea, the patent office does not understand "readily". clean energy is supposed to be streamlined, average wait 14 to 18 months.
i read and read again. your idea must have merit, of usefullnes, the days of being awarded patents for a 500 pound mouse are gone. Money / Investment / Time and who you know.
More than just an idea. It is simple in thought and full of proven research.
getting warm?

I had never heard of convection solar power before. No doubt an intensely hot deserted area would be ideal for a powerful source but I wonder if the concept might be useful as a convection shaft within a tall structure such as a skyscraper. It probably would not create worthwhile exportable power but perhaps within the structure it might have use for heating and cooling or small electrical generation such as might be accomplished by solar cell screens.
convection with a twist my friend, a serious twist at 90+ mph. the shape of the structure, materials the structure is made of, the height of the structure.
i produce energy at two points, and in three ways. the amount of energy is far more than you are grasping, far more.
