Set up kiosk where you rent books to travelers. Charge a few dollars for the classics, maybe a bit more for new releases or popular titles. Allow credit cards only to prevent theft- you're charged full price, plus penalty, if you don't return book within specified time. Would work for travelers to use the books while they are in your town and return them on their way home. A system would need to be worked out to lend to departures from your home city that aren't round trips (all your books would end up in Chicago, for example, and need to be retreived).
