We don't necessarily predict when accidents happen or when a misfortune occurs. When justice needs to be dealt. We basically need lawyers and they cost a lot. Instead of paying a fortune why not issue Lawyer Insurance? The company or the government can issue these insurance to the public. The payment per month is based on your criminal record and anything that involves credibility.

I really hate this idea. If lawyers cost too much now, we should make the schools graduate more of them. Then we could shop for cheaper ones--free market. If we make an essentially unlimited pool of money for them to dip from (insurance), how could this be cheaper?

Law schools and Medical schools have figured out that if they keep the supply low, the prices can stay high.

In medicine, the employers have figured out that they can bring-in doctors and nurses from India or Korea, etc, to cut their own doctors' income. I don't know how we can beat this with lawyers--I don't want a lawyer that doesn't speak English well.
