It would be great to have a decking material that allows sunlight to pass through to the lower level. Building a standard wooden deck above basement windows often makes the downstairs seem dark and dreary. Seems like there would be a market for it, has anyone seen a product like this?

I haven't seen a product like that, but I'm sure it could be done using either plastic panels or glass bricks.
