Abortion Compromise | |||||||||||||||||
Abortion seems to be a divisive issue in our country. It seems like there is little middle ground. Here is a compromise: Women should be allowed to have an abortion if they agree to become organ donors. This way even if they end up taking a life with the abortion, they will be saving a life with the organ donation, so the net effect is the same.

I'm a man and an organ donor, does that mean I can go kill someone? I'm not "pro-life" myself, but I'm pretty sure that this idea won't satisfy pro-lifers.
BTW, I think everybody should volunteer to be an organ donor whether they want an abortion or not.
A mechanic should be allowed to wreck/total your car today if he agrees to fix a car for someone tomorrow. One-for-one.
Oh, you think it's different when your the at the short end of the stick? Bet the baby feels that way too. Even though the baby doesn't have feelings yet, it's still a fairness issue.
How many babies can you abort with one donor signature? one? Twenty?
i think you guys are pretty harsh on him. i didnt see him promoting abortion but you act like he is. IF abortion is legal, dont you think it would be good to have the mother be required to make up for it somehow?
Excuse me, dork-nozzles, but it's a right to privacy which upholds the current legal standing of choice. Our society already compromises by allowing men to be utterly irresponsible, with everything geared to preserve their precious permanent boyhood. How about allowing anti-choice people to protest ONLY if they are or have been single fathers? Choice number two: you can protest only if you have adopted a child from this country (as that is where you are protesting against the right of women to choose)? Wake up and see women's rights as what's under attack --is it vastly devastating to the woman's future prospects in all aspects of her life. Lastly, "myparadigm" has made such an inane "comment" that it's shocking he hasn't been kicked off of the site permanently: yo "my," IF you're allowed to run around unsterilized, which is pretty amazing, don't you think that it would be good for you to have to make up for it somehow?
dork-nozzle and what of the choice of the baby?
