you know what i think of every day? That there is only one person in this universe who truly exists, and all the others are just objects in his or her life. Maybe we all do truly exist but in different things i would like to call "zones". One person might percieve something in their own view. probably we all see things in different colors or ways. thats why we like certain colors and music. we were just raised to know that a certain color is "white" or "black". Think about it. Are you that one person? that eveything exists because of you? please comment.

I know that im the same guy who wrote this, but i just wanted to add that if you have the power to add this to the official list of pardoxes, please do so.
Which statement is your paradox? you have suggested two different ideas.
1. There is only one person in existence.
2. We all exist, but in different "zones."
I wouldn't call #1 a paradox, it is just a hypothesis. A paradox is something that appears true even though it contradicts accepted facts or logic. Your suggestion could be possibly true, but it doesn't appear true. It could easily be false. There is no argument that you could present that would make this idea appear more likely to be true than not true. Furthermore, even if it is true, it doesn't contradict facts or logic; it only contradicts common beliefs. This idea isn't exactly new either; Rene Descarte discussed this idea at great length.
I don't consider #2 a paradox either. This concept has been called the relativity of perception argument. It was advocated by John Locke and Bertrand Russell to support the theory of scientific realism.
These are interesting ideas, but I'm not sure if this is really the right forum for discussing philosophy.
impressive response, Dwane. I agree with the last paragraph, too.
Hey, I did not know what else to call it. I guess it could be called a theory, but it would have to be hypothesis first. Maybe I should've called it jades hypothesis? I'm only fourteen! Oh, and if you can add a new section called "theories" or something to that nature.
i can explain this quite easily for anyone who believes in a god - if god is everlasting and the source of everything, then what is it going to do with its eternal free time? apparently it decided to become a human a few billion times for one.
