Anyone who's stayed in a decent Hotel knows what the little fridge filled with drinks & snacks in your room is for and how they work, Correct? Well for a few of these resorts that are only for adults, "why not have one for ADULT TOYS?" There would be a nice selection of Oils, Lubricants, & Creams offered in sample or small sizes. And then some popular Vibrators, Dildos and specialty items(along with condoms) offered as well. Most people don't know where or are too shy to buy at a regular Adult Shop.(I worked in one for 5yrs.) This would allow numerous Adults "Just what they need" without fear of being seen. +PROFITS

And, of course, a neat telephone list of local call girls with noted capabilities could top off the possibilities. No doubt hotel support could be kinder than the local pimp situation and more regulated as to health and honesty. Why go half way?
Sand, prostitution is still illegal in most places (at least in the US), but adult toys are not.
One problem with this idea is that you would have to buy new toys every time the guests use them, or even appear to have possibly used them. If you worked in an adult shop, then you know that reselling a returned item is a no-no. You can't really expect the guests to use dildos that have been used by previous guests! Constant replacements could get very expensive for the hotel.
Another problem would be that many guests would definitely not want such items in their rooms. I can imagine some serious complaints from shocked guests. Even if they don't use them, just knowing they're there would upset many people. You would have to make there presence optional.
Hotels increase their profits by attacting more guests. This idea might repel more guests than it attracts.
I guess my sarcasm was too subtle. I'm sure that guests that are so driven by their libido would be well prepared to entertain themselves in the privacy of a hotel room.
"Whoa!" Thank you all for even taking the time to offer your opinions! I just want to state that the "Adult Honor Bar" OFCOURSE would restock "NEW" items when needed the same as you would with drinks and snacks. Any item purchased would then be the property of the buyer. And is honestly meant for personal use alone or with a partner.(Just like any Hotel Bed, I guess) As for Prostitution...? I NEVER even thought a second about that!! But Now that it's been "Brought Up"(giggles) I guess it's possible that a guest might not feel the need for a prostitute.., "If the right Adult items were offered?" ??? Hhmmmm..??
Now that robotics is progressing rapidly and I have seen robots that at least visually duplicate their inventors so closely that it is difficult to tell them apart it should be an oncoming development to develop a sexually fascinating robot. I wonder if a good one would be classed as a dildo or a prostitute.
I'm already hoping the honor Snicker's-bar doesn't show up on the bill my employer pays. What would he say to this?
I don't do the pay-TV either--Maybe you people pay for your own rooms, but if I'm not traveling with my wife, usually someone else is paying.
I'm already grossed out about the bed sheets and comforters in hotels! Maybe a vending machine with oils, lube, and condoms; no toys
Responding to the "Good Point" mentioned by "Hrench". I would have the "Adult Honor Bar" costs written up on a separate invoice that would allow a customer to pay by cash or credit privately. And there's always the option of having the "A.H.B." requested to the room. Like asking for an extra rollaway bed. Or just just offedered in a few suites.?? "Good point" also by "Clean Comic". A small "Vending" machine without the toys BUT including smaller toys like the "Vibro-ring" or "Micro-vibe" would be more acceptable to the mass public at this time in our society. ?? Any Resorts out there willing to take a try? In the "Interest of Justice"??
Toys ARE illigal in some states (Texas i think is one). People have to buy vibrators under the name 'personal messagers' and can be fined for buying or selling them.
