When anyone requests a sugar-free drink in a restaurant, bar, fast food eatery, party, etc., the drink will often be delivered along with several others on the tray. If for the diabetic avoidance of sugar-containing foods is important (even essential), having a method of testing the drink before drinking it would be helpful or even critical. A simple dipstick designed to do this (similar to the lab tests for glucose in urine samples) could be most helpful. It could be packaged in single or multiple strip packs and carried easily in pocket or purse.
