Nicotine Inhaler | |||||||||||||||||
I dont Know how to Spell the Chemical in Tobacco that is fun...But I do know, I want the benefits of drugs without the side effects. If we made an Inhaler that had Pure nicotine instead of Smoke and all other kinds of things... Things might work out...

This might be healthier, but I don't think nicotine is completely free of bad side effects.
I'm guessing you are intending this for smokers. This might help them quit, but I don't know. People often fail to realize that a significant part of most addictions is the activity of using the drug. For example, while nicotine may be the addictive chemical, people that smoke are also addicted to the activity of smoking. They enjoy the taste, smell and feel of the smoke. They enjoy inhaling the smoke and blowing it out. They enjoy the glowing ember. They even enjoy flicking the ashes off. Using a pure inhaler wouldn't be as fun and relaxing.
I don't know how addictive nicotine is--I think "very-very"--but I think this would sell well and should be legal but could be a bad idea for society. I guess it depends on the dangers of nicotine without the cigg tar, etc.
I do think that inhalers may not be the best technology for such a drug--they're expensive, fragile, the pressure might be dangerous. I've never used an inhaler, though, so I'm no expert.
The way I see people 'driving' their coffee-cups around the office (and me, my pop cans) every morning, probably a drinkable nicotine would be more easily integrated into our culture and harder to overdose on.
But in lieu of burning tobacco every hour on a ten-minute-break that only the smokers get, this probably would result in more efficiency for the workplace and less stinkyness in the break-area.
But I don't think it would induce anyone to quit nicotine--they might quit smoking but be addicted to this inhaler (or nic-drink) the rest of their life.
nicotine inhaler "elecric cigarette"

I think they exist, but a prescription is required. This is odd, seeing as how a less healthy option is so prevalent. I think nicotine is very much like caffeine. The health risks of smoking & much of the kick comes from other gases, such as carbon monoxide -- not just nicotine. These are where the health risks come, and many smokers are not satisfied by just nicotine.
Still, I think this is a great idea, but the public stigma will probably keep nicotine from an inhaler in the prescription realm, and thus not really marketable on a mass level.
