Beat Gloves!These gloves would be for the percussionist on the go, or the average Joe. The tips of all the fingers and the outside tops of the thumbs would contain small pressure sensitive pads that when struck on any surface would produce sounds via a small speaker in the palm area of the glove. Different noises and sounds could be interchanged to any finger via an embedded USB cable that would be incorporated into the wrist of the glove. The gloves would run off stored USB power or a small watch battery. Another possible feature would be basic recording software to use while the gloves are plugged into your P.C.

I can imagine a dude walking down the street smacking his fingers wherever he can land them...like in the "simon stix" commercial! I think I'd get sore fingers after a while. Very creative however.
I interactive media labs have developed such products. Some I think are in the marketplace if you look.
