Instead of your traditional snow blower, how about a machine that uses some kind of heated coils to melt the snow that it goes over/through instead of moving it. Of course on the back of the machine would be a salt spreader so that all the snow you just melted would not turn to ice!Have a clean driveway in just minutes.

Melting snow takes a lot of energy. In these days of energy conservation it goes against the trend of conserving expensive energy.
How about a heated drive-way?
Or you could put an old jet-engine on a truck and melt the roads clear.

The railroad uses these to thaw switches.
Really, I am a fan of heated roads, but future electricity will have to be cheaper than now for them to come to fruition. Also, the wiring of roads is trouble-prone. There are other why-nots for these if you want to know more.
