It seems the majority of drivers are clueless when it comes to the use of fog lights. In probably 90% of the cases, drivers turn them on at night when there is absolutely zero fog on the road. This is completely unnecessary and, worse, produces a distracting glare for oncoming traffic. Since you have to intentionally turn them on (ie they don't just come on when you turn on your normal night-time lights), these drivers must be clueless. Next time you go to turn on your fog lights, just ask yourself why they are actually called that?

i think people turn on fog lights at night and day because they think it makes their cars look cool.
theironman - you may be right. Little do they know that anyone who intentionally puts on their foglights when there is nog fog doesn't look cool - they just look moronic
