changeable eyeglass frames | |||||||||||||||||
I would like to have more than 1 pair of glasses/frames. Can someone invent a way to easily remove the prescription lenses and put them into various frames? I know this has been done with jewelry and watches. Not everyone can wear contact lenses; and inexpensive frames in a variety of colors would be nice.

What your idea brigns to mind is the "skins" for cell phones. Perhaps you could have a skins for glasses.
Great idea.The same concept as watch "rings", first introduced by Gucci could apply. Just change the part of the frame that surrounds the lens, not the whole frame. Different colors, somewhat differenct shapes. Magnetic like the new sunglass lenses that they have now.
This is an "old" idea. I bought a set of frames that came with 3 or 4 different colored lenses that you simply popped in and out as your wardrobe required. This was about 25 years ago.
