When I post a new idea on this site, I have the option of receiving e-mails with other's comments on the idea. I think this is great.

I would suggest enhancing this option, so that if anyone comments on someone else's idea, the commentor would also have the option of receiving e-mails when anyone else comments on the orginal idea.
