Say you want to donate a kidney to a loved one but you are not compatible. Clearly you are a good and generous person, but you still don't want to just donate to a "random" person either. Here is where KidneySwap.org comes in. You register as a pair, "A-positive donor with B-negative recipient seeks opposite". Later an opposite match in the same situation finds you, you swap kidney's and it's off to October fest! You might even have multiple family volunteers willing to be the one picked to allow an incoming match.

I have not setup KidneySwap.org because I just thought of it, but maybe I will, but I also e-mailed the National Kidney registry and told them they should update their web with this idea. Hopefully they will as I think it could really open up the pool of donors.
