They have a good idea of what is coming into your house, but you don't know how much is going back, since unused electricity goes back out, we should be measuring how much and submit a bill to the energy department each year on christmas, like a christmas bonus or something. I'm wondering if it is being monitored already or are we paying for something that is being sold again to our neighbors. Just a thought I guess. But if it's not and it actually happens, good luck to the one that tries it, why not? a person gets rich by what they give, ten fold they say. So far, no luck for me, ha ha ha, lol!

If any power goes out of your house, it does get counted on your meter, at least where I live. If you have a generator that puts out more power than you use, the meter will turn backward and the power company has to send you a check to pay you for it. That is the law here. However, there is no such thing as unused electricity going into your house and back out again. Electricity doesn't work that way.
Well maybe it could. I mean, say you take in 10,000 watts, and use some of that to help turn wind turbines, or help start some other way to naturally generate electricity. Then you have an overflow and give back 8,000 watts as a byproduct of what you dont need. You used 2,000 watts, and can get billed just for that. Though your still not making any money, you are paying less, kinda.
