Living not far from the coast, one learns not only to swim, but to dive and see the ocean floor. So it came to mind one day while relaxing in the waves, why not create a water bed in the house.
This bed would be 10ft long. Its a bubble tub that you can completely submerge yourself in. You can choose to wear a mask, or have an airpocket over your face to breath. For buoyancy you can choose your position by a nob inside to let yourself float if you naturally sink, or sink if you float easily, or find a good middle ground where your under the water, but not on the bottom by changing the chemicals in the water from salty like the ocean, to super plain that neutralizes your displacement in the water. The water can be regulated to a specific temperature, and even play music if you so choose to calm you down. Lighting can be added for effects. If anything happens, you can have an ejection system pump out the water quickly, and open the lid on the top.

Wash and rinse cycle sign me up but seriously vertical or horizontal orientation? The reason I ask is the feeling of weightlessness may help with getting that good nights sleep we all need. I think vertical may work out best for two reasons 1. The unit would take up less space than what a bed does now and 2. Less chance of drowning if something was to go wrong.
Well, i was thinking along the lines for divers, but yeah, it could be optional to go both vertical and horizontal, pending what the person prefers. This system would cost a pretty penny, but people who can afford it, would buy it i think. I want one!
