How about ovens that vent hot air outside in the summer and inside in the winter?

Barring the use of expensive filtration systems, oven fumes are loaded with grease. smoke and other particulate matter. Probably best to keep it outside...

That said, there are many kitchens where the oven does not vent outside... Haven't noticed any particular use to it, except getting those hard-to-reach parts of the cabinetry all greasy...
