since nowadays the mobile techniques have been developed very well, especially for the connectivity likes bluetooth, infrared, etc. Why don't the mobile company invent a software or system which can link with those electronic machine and to let the mobile control to the electronic machines such as television, air coniditioner, refrigerator so that we are able to master it by using our cell phone. Thereby we don't need to have differents controller and to lessen our inconvinece, these probably can make our life easier. Still we can use this system to control our satety boxes or even the car doors.

I concur that a cell phone would make a good general controller but the security factor then becomes a major problem. Losing your cell phone would leave you technologically naked to all sorts of thievery so security must be a very essential part of the system. I wonder if the owner should have an implanted RFID like the things put into pets so that the phone would only function in the close vicinity of the owner.

the mobile company can create a password or voive-detected system in order to avoid the drawback that you mentioned!
