Schools jobsite | |||||||||||||||||
Many educators and schools are short of funds, and short of kit for their classes. Rather than teachers attempting to purchase bits out of their own pockets, this website allows a teacher to open a public job. This jobsite is a public billboard asking for specific resources needed by a specific teacher. Then teachers can ask the public "angels" to help them with educational materials via this jobsite. As well, a teacher could video a broken toilet, and post "fix downstairs west toilet". The website can allow bidding like ebay, or, as well things for free. Effectively, it is to put "angels" in touch with teachers at the coalface so that materials and resources are directly available to any educator who can open a job. Parents and concerned citizens could then use the website to assist teachers in virtual tasks anonymously (an option for students and parents) or named for far away donors. With a secure area, the jobsite could include paper grading and other community sourceable work. But bottom line, why can't my community teacher put up that she needs 18 copies of a book for her class? Maybe an angel can help her.

I get the concept behind it all... but some of your explanations are hard to follow... especially the first paragraph...
Could you reword for a dumb blond (ahem actually brunette, rather dark brunette) like me?
