Many smart-phones (iphone, android etc) are now GPS enabled. If I were to have my cellphone stolen and then reported it as such to my service provider why couldn't they shut down my phone but also activate a simple signal that would indicate to my service provider (in my case ATT) or the local police as to the location of my stolen (or even lost) phone?
