Hello,my apology on "BAMBI",Banking Acquired Management Business Incubation.General concept requires a National Development Bank,in which a Commercial Bank and a management administrator agency(BAMBI)in which directly transacts with the said national bank.I am only suggesting a forum for a possibility studies for discussion base on practicality on basics on self employment.

Butterfly, I'm not exactly sure I understand your idea. "Banking Acquired Managment" makes it sound to me like you're the bank and when new small businessmen want to borrow money from you, you audit their operations then 'manage' them as a requirement for lending them bank money. This possible operation fits with the comments you've replied to Dwane with.

I think as a small businessman, I'd prefer more freedom, without being 'managed'. It's my risk and I'd rather succeed or fail on my own.

I also would avoid borrowing money as much as possible. I do know that many small businesses start with debt, investors and maybe venture capitalists, but they pretty much have a plan to get more money back out of the investment and that means that they really don't care about the business, the people, the products, etc, aside from the fact that they want them to succeed to repay/profit from.

I see franchises differently, though. If Subway helps me open a store, they want to earn money from me, so they'll help me succeed, they actually care about the product, the image, the future--not just the return.
