When I have a headache, I go to the drug store, and they sell me a packet of pills.

But I don't want a packet of pills. What I want is two pills and a mouthful of water to take them with.

Why not have a small twin pack of two pills and a mouthful of water, in a container which I can use with one hand?

I agree. This would be nice in airport/bus/train station vending machines. Also needed is the same idea with a small toothbrush, preloaded with toothpaste.

same with contact lens solution and a case. I've been caught sooo many times without my case, and needing to take them out, or needing "JUST SALINE" to wash tired eyes... and no hotels have it... its like nobody recognizes the massive number of people who wear contacts.

With your advil idea, i usually take 4-5 of them or they don't work... perhaps a variable dosage for wieght.. ?

Perhaps a "hangover kit" should be available in the liquor section of the shop, with 10 advils, vitamin supplements and a protein drink, and a small booklet on minimizing hangover hell... maybe even a small bottle of the hair of the dog.

Funny thing... here in my country (Ecuador, Southamerica) you can go to a drugstore and buy 1, 2, 3... whatever number of pills you want. The clerk simply gets the amount asked for from the box.

Also, you can buy diapers per unit!

Oh you! consumer-culture americans =)

I do think that some medications could be sold for immediate use. In your's case, providing a cup of water (may be sealed) would be better kind of service. Please note that around 250 mL water, instead of a mouthful would be more appropriate. Someone had taken a capsule which melt and released drug at the larynx mucosa and caused irritation because he didn't drink enough water.
