The mobile budget application would be an application available to download on your cell phone, similar to the music and game applications you download now. It would allow you to be able to track your debits and credits in your personal bank account(s). Since most people are no longer writing checks, and almost everyone has a phone over a checkbook ledger, why not merge them together? This would be a "green" approach and reduce the need to order supplies from your bank. The general idea is to enter your paycheck, bills to be paid and it would create your budget for your current pay period similar to a spreadsheet would with formulas, but it would be available at any time from your cell phone. Instead of logging into your online bank account, you would have access to this application. It would of course need to be secure and require a username and password.

It's called Xpenser and you can sendyourexpense info. via voice, SMS. IM email. It then saves it to your desktop, and can be edited and printed off later.
