Antripathy, I think I remember seeing your post. You said something about wind turbines suffering from limited efficiency for the same reasons that other heat engines suffer inefficiencies. It does seem to be missing now. I know that the owners of this site are capable of deleting things, but considering some of the stupid things that are left on here, I can't imagine why they would delete yours. I don't remember exactly what it said, but it seemed to be reasonably rational sounding.
