There are plenty of people who would like to know the musical artist and title of a song simply by humming the tune. Why not create a database of such songs and a special way of getting further information about them by hum alone?

This idea is important not just for entertaintment reasons, but for legal ones as well. Sometimes, a performer may violate the copyright of a different musical group simply because the former is not aware of the latter's song. An invention such as what I'm suggesting would go a long way in preventing that.
