I feel one of the reasons why rural parts of many developing countries are under developed is lack of power. I thought if we could come up with a device small enough to be hosted in the backyard of a farm or for a small village, in the center of the village. The device will make use of Solar energy, Wind Energy, Biogas energy and Electricity from rain water. Thus making the village self sustained for power requirements. It sounds a bit weird and but I feel if we can pack millions of transistors on a small die of silicon and send people to moon. If we put in honest effor, we certainly can achieve what I suggested.
